"BEAUTIFUL!"
Wonderful! Perfect in every way. Clean and we had everything that we needed. We stayed in the two bedroom condo - what was great was that the bedrooms were on opposite sides. Would stay here again! perfect location as well, the Gap of Dunloe in general was beautiful!!!!! Out of all the palces we stayed at on our trip to Ireland (5 total) this definitely was the best!
"PERFECT FOR A LARGE GROUP!"
A group of 8 of us (4 couples) stayed in Buglers Cottage for the weekend of the Ring of Kerry cycle and it was ideal.
Each apartment/quarter is large, with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette/living area with its own private front door and garden access. The TVs and free Wifi are also a bonus.
The cottage suited us perfectly as we were able to manage all the bikes and gear in comfort, as well as prepare our own food and supplies for the cycle.
Located within walking distance of Kate Kearneys cottage (pub/eatery) and the Gap of Dunloe, I would recommend this as a base for any cycling groups or hillwalkers planning to trek around the surrounding countryside.
Overall the cottage is very clean, well maintained and very spacious and the owner & caretaker were great to deal with. The price was also great value.
The only negatives I would add are that it is an expensive taxi ride to Killarney village and the advertised checkout time (10am) is too early (although this was changed to 12 for us, which suited us a lot better).
"PERFECT HOUSE, PERFECT LOCATION!"
We stayed in the cottage at the end of October this year. The house is fantastic, recently renovated to a very high standard. Everything you need and more. We hired the complete house as there were ten of us. Each of the apartments is perfect, the decor in each is beautiful. The location of the cottage couldn't be better, just at the beginning of the Gap of Dunloe, quite near Carrauntuohil and ten minute drive from Killarney town. It's idyllic, hard to drag yourself away from, we're looking forward to staying there again in the future. Julie met us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know.
"EXCELLENT CHOICE"
We stayed in this cottage during our first trip to Ireland and were completely satisfied. It is a bit "off the beaten path" and tricky to find after dark, but the owner provided very helpful directions. We would not hesitate to return again if ever in the area.

"FANTASTIC HOUSE IN A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION"
The Buglers is a fantastic cottage with five star facilities. We were a group of ten and found the layout excellent. There was plenty communal space and the individual apartments allowed you the space to relax and find a quiet corner if you wanted. The area around it is stunning, a walkers paradise. Two really good restaurants and a pub within walking distance.I'd highly recommend this cottage.
"GREAT FOR FAMILY CHRISTMAS!"
We had a wonderful time. We decided to rent a house to be able for all our family members that came from different parts of the world to stay together, and we couldn't have a better Christmas! We chose one kitchen to cook, so that it's easier and fun, but any time anyone wanted privacy and quiet - they could have it, because of the layout of the house. The house was very warm, clean, all the kitchens, bathrooms and showers were in perfect condition. We decorated the house with lights and Christmas tree. And Killarney town has so much to offer, eventhough it's winter time and a lot of tourist places (like Ross castle and Celtic Steps show) are closed down for the season. Thank you Julie for providing us with such a delightful house!
